A leading Scandinavian waste management group with approximately 2,500 employees and more than 100 sites across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Estonia. The organisation manages more than 6.3 million tonnes of material annually across recycling, treatment, detoxification and value-chain recovery.
The challenge
The organisation was undertaking a full migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Cloud. Hundreds of business-critical regression scenarios across finance, logistics and compliance needed to be tested before, during and after go-live.
Manual regression was not feasible at this scale. Microsoft's evergreen update cadence also meant that this could not be treated as a one-off migration test. The business needed an ongoing capability that could validate future releases automatically.

The solution
AQAnetics delivered the complete QA automation capability across test data, infrastructure, reporting and evergreen readiness.
Automated test data orchestration. Test data is provisioned and retired automatically for each run, making hundreds of scenarios deterministic and repeatable.
Open-source technology stack. Selenium and TestNG power automation and orchestration, containerised through Docker and managed with Kubernetes.
Evergreen-ready smoke testing. Dedicated smoke packs sit within CI/CD to validate every Dynamics 365 release automatically.
Transparent reporting. A self-hosted automation hub provides execution history, logs and video replay for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Embedded across the lifecycle
AQAnetics worked day to day with the client's domain experts, from requirements and scenario design through development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance. This ensured that automation reflected real processes and continued to evolve with the programme.
The outcome
Weeks of manual regression were reduced to automated overnight runs without adding headcount. Manual QA capacity moved toward exploratory testing and edge-case discovery, while execution history and video replay helped shorten defect-escalation loops.
