What we collect
When you book a demo or contact us. Our “Book a demo” links take you to a scheduling page hosted by HubSpot, where you provide your name, email address, company name, and any details you choose to include about your testing requirements. We receive this information when you submit it.
When you email us. We receive your email address, your message, and anything else you include.
When you visit this website. Our hosting provider processes technical information — IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps — as a normal part of serving the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not use this to identify individual visitors.
If you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics records the pages you view, how long you spend on them, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, and general device and browser information. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used. It is not set unless you accept it, and you can withdraw at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
We do not collect special category data through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process personal data on our behalf under written contracts:
- Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics, website usage measurement (only where you have consented)
- HubSpot — customer relationship management and demo scheduling
- Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery
- Microsoft 365 — business email
We may also disclose personal data to professional advisers, or where we are required to do so by law.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR — an adequacy decision, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, depending on the provider and destination.
Google Analytics data may be processed in the United States by Google LLC. Google relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for these transfers.
You can request details of the safeguards in place for a specific provider by contacting us.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: 24 months from our last contact with you
- Customer and supplier records: for the duration of the relationship, and then as required for legal and accounting purposes
- Website server logs: 30 days
- Google Analytics data: 14 months from collection
We review the data we hold periodically and delete what we no longer need.
Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies, and these are not set unless you accept them. When you first visit, we ask whether you consent; if you decline, or simply ignore the request, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share analytics data with Google for advertising purposes.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies this site has set and stops any further collection.
Our hosting provider may also set strictly necessary cookies required to deliver and secure the site. These do not track you across websites and do not require your consent.
If you follow a link from this site to a third-party service — for example our HubSpot scheduling page — that service operates under its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies. We would encourage you to review the policy of any third-party site you visit.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Erase your data in certain circumstances
- Restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing — if you object to direct marketing, we will stop
- Portability — receive certain data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent, where we have relied on consent
To exercise any of these, contact us at info@aqanetics.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Our lead supervisory authority is the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie). If you live or work in another EU or EEA country, you may instead complain to the data protection authority there.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
